How it works

Booking an inspection, start to finish

Three steps. Here is what happens in each one, how long it takes, and what you need to have ready.

  1. Book

Pick a date that works with your handover.

    What happens

You send the property type, the county and your expected handover date. We come back with the price and the first available dates, and confirm access with you or the builder.

You need: the address, the number of bedrooms, and a rough completion date. Nothing else.

  2. Inspect

We go through the property room by room, inside and out.

    What happens

Two to four hours on site, depending on the size of the property. Every defect is photographed where it is, so the report shows the location and not just the problem. You are welcome to attend, and you do not have to.

You need: access arranged, and the services switched on where possible.

  3. Report

You get a photographed report with every defect and its location.

    What happens

The report reaches you the same day, laid out room by room so you can hand it straight to the builder. When the work is done, a de-snag revisit confirms what was actually fixed.

You need: to send it on before you sign off on the property.

Three fields and a date. That is the whole booking.
